Ooc: smacks John in the head with a large blut object. "WE'RE JUST STATING THE FACTS!!! THE NAMES MIDNIGHT BY THE WAY!!!"

Ic: Cleeishies nodds to Angelfire and stops. She can sence that their friends were not to far behind. She almost laughed at the image of Jadrian picking up sticks just before the got out seeing distance. It was a bit odd that anyone would do such a thing in the mist of danger. Suddenly she turned back to Mia who had also stoped, with a puzzled look on her face.

Hey, Mia, this threat you sence,is it close? And will it really matter how much we run from it anyways?

Her tone was full of seriousness and seceraty.

Angelfire stood in the path with his hand on his sword just waiting for something bad to happen.

Nobody is going to die while he is around. He thought to himself.

IC: Jadrian stood, staring at Angelfire, and rubbing his head where it had collided with Iyrius's shoulder. He yelled back to Angelfire; "Eh? Buggie man? What are you talking about brother?" He fifnished tucking the twigs and small branches intp his pouch, then ran up to Angelfire,m along with Iyrius

OOC: Same question, and we aren't going to die when WHO is around? And also, I think this is the character who can send a fireball through his sword.

Iyrius held his slightly bruised shoulder and looked at Jadrian. "Eena ite, but you are clumsy. I'll make note to stay at least five feet away," he said jokingly. "And i think he meant 'boogie man'." He chuckled and said with mock bravado, "Never fear, Iyrius is here! I shall save you all from the terror! Dah dah dah daaaah!"

'Dearie' was said with sarcasim but it was not meant to be harsh. they might be hunted by something at the moment but Iyrius couldn't help but feel excited. it was good to be on an adventure again. "Why, with my stuper strenghth i could save you all!" Without thinking, he picked Mia up. "I be strong, yes i do!"

What did she mean by that? Iyrius didn't know but he felt that it had been a challenge. Grinning, he climbed up after her. "Come now, we're running from something, remember? Hiding in a tree is not lady-like."

"Hey, I'm not losing if i didn't know there was a competition!" Iyrius tried to follow her and almost fell trying to get to the next tree. "Come now, we're leaving the other's behind!" He was still grinning, however. He made it to the next tree with only a few scrapes. "Not fair, geh'hala, you're much more nimble then i am."

Iyrius chuckled to himself. The others could follow below, he was going to show Mia that he wasn't to be taken lightly. "I'll do better than follow," he said taking up pursuit, "I'll catch you and take you down myself!" Chuckling, he followed after her.

"OH! Come on! my grandpa was faster than you!" She yelled Jumping from tree to tree trying but utterly fail to keep him behind.' Aw come on , huff huff, you can do betterhuff huff, Than that!" She yelled loseing her breath the faster she went.

"Then your grandpa must be in really good shape!" Iyrius retorted. She was fast and he was having to move quickly to stay up with her. "You're gonna have to move faster! I've almost got you!"

Mia was beginning to huff and puff and was beginning to fail in her attempt to beat Iyrius." Aw come on! you can do better than th-...!" Mia triped and began to fall out of the tree, she was so suprised that she didnt have time to react and couldnt grab on or turn in mid air, she was falling and with the height of the trees plus gravitational pull the impact was bound to hurt. She couldnt afford to have an injury like that, she struggled and tried as hard as she could but her body was petrified, she needed help. this fall could be a serious "pain in the bac".

What had been fun a couple seconds ago suddenly became very serious. Reaching out, Iyrius grabbed Mia around the waist and pulled her back to safety. "Woah, i gotcha!" He held her close to help her regain her balance. "I got you, don't worry." That would have been a nasty fall, possibly fatal. The realization of this made Iyrius want to sick up and he unconciously held her tighter.

Mia felt herself being griped tighter and tighter and looked up and blushed at the face of Iyrius. Her face grew hotter and hotter she had a strange new feeling in the pit of her stomach. It took her over and gave a fluttery feeling to her stomach, she'd never experienced any thing like it before. She was brought bac to her senhces when she landedShe looked into his face again and felt the same feeling she was quiet for a min then tried to struggle free in embarressment.

After taking Mia back down Iyrius didn't realize that he had kept his hold on her until she began to push herself away. He felt his cheeks color and he quickly released her. "I'm sorry...I...I didn't mean...." What was he trying to say? He mentally kicked himself and told himself to stop being such an idiot. "I just... you were falling and... and I..." Knock it off and speak clearly! His tongue just didn't want to cooperate. He finally settled with, "Are you okay?"

"Okay you guess?" Iyrius had noticed that she had blushed as she turned away. Was she embarrassed at having to be saved? He didn't think that was it. He shuddered at the thought of Mia falling that distance. "We, ah, should get back to the others."
