HAHA. FINALLY IT'S OUT. Seems the Eragon movie trailer leaked onto the internet today or yesterday or something. Whatever, it's out!! HAHA! So happpy....

they always change the books when they make it into a movie, the books are always too long and have too many details. but i cant wait

Aiolos, how badly did they butcher it? They didn't cut Garrow, did they? TELL ME THEY DIDN'T!!

A few of the larger things are that Saphira blows fire BEFORE Isidar Mithrim is shattered, her wings are feathered, the Urgals are NOTHING like what Paolini described them (they're bald men with tattoos, rather than beasties), and Brom isn't an 'old man' (he's more like 35-40 year old). There's some minor details (like Arya and Eragon being blonde), but hey, what can you expect?

And I didn't see anything on Garrow. But they mentioned him in the cast list, so he's in the movie ;]

i think that saphira actually looks really cool with feathery wings, what i dont like is that you dont hear her say a word in the trailer. it makes her seem like a dumb beast.

Well, what can you expect? While they're changing important things, why not have Saphira speak in a language that only Dragon Riders know.

And why is Arya blonde?

What I heard is they got a computer to voice Saphira (I may be wrong though). Ooh, can't wait to hear that...-_-

And I don't know why Arya's blonde. On the poster she's not, but I think she is in the trailer....Does anyone know of anther blondey in Eragon? I know Katrina in Eldest, but does she ever appear in Eragon?

Yes, she does, and Katrina has red hair, "...like a molten spray of copper..." (In the book)

I sure hope saphira talks, though a computer sounds a bit unreal. I know its possible, but it might be REEEEAAAALLLY bad, I'll go see it anyway, but I think I'll stick to the books.
