As i'm sure you know the crocodile hunter died recently by way of a stingray barb through the ribs to the heart. If you have any comments on this please post.
My thoughts are as follows:
I feel that the Earth has lost a great defender of the natural world as well as a brave man. I'm sad over his death as well as his wife and two kids. But, I feel this was the kind of way he would have wanted to go out and if he had not been on the recieveing end of that barb I beleive the first words from his mouth as he dodged would have been "Crikey! a Be-utiful shot that was!" Farewell Croc hunter I salute you.
There is no greater honor than dieing in glorious combat with a superior opponent. *Thrust... thrust.... parry....sweep.....THRUST!! Good.* Ah the joy of a Boar Spear.
Well he did and i respect him for that. He did those things to teach us more about our planet and that nature isn't quite as dangerous as we thought.

Shush, Chalgrish. Sure, he was a bit...insane...but he was insane in a good way. He was a great guy, and he did a great deal to help the enviroment and animals. He taught a lot to the kids that watched him (by way of teaching them about animals, not telling them to jump on head-eating critters), as well as many adults. I, for one, give him thanks for getting my in to reptiles as a kid, which further led to dragons. So ha.
C'mon, you know you loved him. Everyone loved the Crocodile Hunter!
I think that Steve Irwin would have liked to go in that sort of way though he may have prefered to go from his famous crocs. He showed a lot of people that crocs aren't evil.
Mad Austrailien, we salute you.
Formerly DragonRider. Almost teenage me could have been more imaginative with names.
:done:He taught the world to respect all animals, and that they aren't as evil as stories have portrayed them, and he was a true animal savior by building protected species' reserves, and were it not for Steve Irwin and all animal protectors like him tireless efforts to teach the ignorant people, animals like the Koala and many rare marsupial species would be near extict.
Granted, his methods were a little phsycotic, like wrestling crocodiles and taking his four week-old son with him into a crocodile enclosure, but he always tried his best to protect the animals of Australia and other countries.
R.I.P
Steve Irwin
A great loss to his country and his family and friends.
Mother Nature isn't defined or restricted by Man's lack of imagination.-Dragons,a fantasy made real.
I think he was stupid the way he harassed and aggravated the animals, watching him I had a suspicion something like this would happen to him, that he would die when he messed with the wrong kind of deadly animal. Kids, don't pick up poisonous snakes, and don't wrestle with alligators or crocodiles. Don't touch wild animals.
Well, he was a good guy if not crazy, he loved animals and taught people to respect animals and Mother Nature, that animals with bad reputations aren't all that bad. I hope he's in heaven now.
I live in Florida, and there are lots of alligators there. One time I went to this nature park near a stream and lake, there were so amny gators hanging out over the place. After getting out of the car I found a gator lying in the grass near the lake, and I got as close as I dared to it. The gators didn't hurt anybody, they just laid there and ignored the people. I was scared at first, but the gators were not aggressive. There was a family having a picnic at a table on the bank of the lake, and the little boy wiht them was scared of the alligators. In Busch Gardens at Tampa Bay they have a fenced in place with a pond full of gators, the gators are so fat, they're lazy and there are some birds and turtles and fish around them. Crocodiles, I here, are much more aggressive than alligators. They can be very dangerous and are known to kill and eat people. I heard a story about a lady in Florida that lived off of a canal, she was trimming bushes near the water when a huge gator came up and took her arm off. The poor woman died in the hospital from blood loss and trama.
Gators are cool because they are like dragons, I also like lizards, I like lizards better because they are not as dangerous. I used to be afraid of snakes, but now I like them because they are cool and unique animals.
Steve Irwin was a wonderful man. I've always wanted to meet him since I saw his show when I was 4 or 5. I may never have the chance in this world, but I shall in the next. He taught children to conserve our planet's wildlife and not to be afraid of it. He died doing what he loved and I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted to die any other way. May God watch over him and let his soul rest in peace with his mother. May his family also be blessed to have been related to him.
I love Canada and Antarctica.(What the hey, they're both cold right?)
