A nasty jolt of electricity hsot out of the keypad into Sera, knocking her back into Thea where they both slammed into the wall. Sera saw stars swirling around her head and tried unsuccessfully to stand up.

Tamien giggled and helped Thea and Sera up.
"I think the code is defintely 0010."

Seraphine thanked her for helping her stand, but then caught what Tamien said.

"The you put it in." she replied.

OOC: Blackie, i don't think that's right. Sukara words are supposed to be powerful magic. Why should you be immune?

IC: Augh, what in Eru's name?" Thea jerked herself away from Tamien. "Bloody hell, i'm sorry! I didn't figure for that to happen. Are you going to all right Seraphine?"

"Yeah! That was a waker-upper!" she replied and giggled. "My hair feels weird...so do my clothes...crap! My fingers are numb!" she laughed again.

"But seriously guys, maybe we're not approaching this right...lets look at the first line 'Four must be found' well thats easy, we need to find four numbers! Second line is "First has one less than itself." Maybe we should look at the numbers as Words instead of as numbers...we are dealign with Word-Wielders, right?"

OOC:I dunno Maybe because she dabbled in magic as a child?Or maybe because it wasn't directed at her?

IC:Tamien hesitantly tappend in the code and waited for the shock that had thrown Sera across the room and shut her eyes tightly.

Thea snorted, "Well, i'm glad you're having fun with your little 'shocking expierience'." She shook her head. "As for your suggestion, i don't see how that would work. How can you take the word 'one' and make it less than 'itself'? I still think the first number is 2."

"Hey the door actually opened." said Lycoris "Or did it?"

OOC: Okay, Blackhawk, yeh, this is a riddle RP, which means you tell me what you think the answer is, then I say if its right or not. ANd that is not the right answer so...

Another nasty bolt of blue electricity fizzled out of the door this time and shocked the heck out of Tamien and caused her to fly back across the room. Seraphine quickly knelt by her and said.

The burns went away, but Tamien still looked dazed.

Thea raised an eyebrow at Lycoris. "Uh, no it didn't, bat-eyes. What're you smoking? Come on, apperently just pushing random buttons apperently is not going to help. And, if we just stand here we're just asking for some guard to come by and pick us up!"

"So much for the door opening." said Lycoris. "Let's see:

"Four must be found."
"First has one less than itself."
"Second makes twice nothing into twice what you look for."
"Third is two less than third."
"Fourth makes the fundamental question."

"We could..catch a guard and make him tell us the number.And if He gets it wrong,He's the one that get shocked.Or mauled.either suits me fine."She smiled phsycotically.
"Isn't the first word you taught us Caminus[fire]?"

Thea growled with frustraition. "You moron, the guard has weapons! We don't, in case you havn't noticed!"
She thought on what Seraphine had meant. "If we take '1' as the word one... do we make it less that 'first' or 'itself'? Augh, i'm bloody well confused!"

Seraphine shrugged, but tried again.

"Maybe.....Oh! Try counting the number of letters in the number as well. Which number has one less than it's own value?"

"One less than it's own value... Well, if we count the letters in 'one' that gets us three. Grrr, but the number one less than three is still two!" She stopped and thought a bit more. "Unless the answer is 3... because if we count the letters in the word 'one' we get three and so 'one(3)' less than it's own value is... is... DAMMIT!"

"See, i knew what i meant when i said there could be so many answers to just one line!" Thea was getting frustraitied and she wanted to hurt someone. Where was that slut, Mia? "Another thought is, what if we counted the number of letters in 'first'? That would give us five and one less than that value is four. Maybe the answer is 4." Again, she growled with frustraition. "Augh, but 5 could be right too!"

"between two and eight..."She counted the letters in Caminus[fire]"Caminus[fire] has seven letters,Aegis[protect] has four,Viceo[Light] has five..."

"Bug brains, we're looking for a number! Not one of your stupid 'magical' words!"

"At least I'm trying to think of something!" Tamien snapped back."Sera said it might have something to do with Sukara,and the number of each of them is between two and eight!"

"At least i'm sticking to the topic! I'm backing Lycoris up, I think the number is 5!"

Akira slowly stood up since the spell had knocked her of her feet and she stared at Thea for a moment before turning away and once again looked at the floorevery time i speek up im told to keep quietshe thought why cant i just learn to keep my mouth shut its not like my say is very importantshe looked up and looked at the others again trying to solve the puzzle

Picking himself up from the floor, Brothorn listened to the others.
"I think 5 is the first number," he said. "Because the word 'five' has only four letters in it. One less. And the word 'first' has five letters. That's one less letter than the word 'itself'. . ."
