Aeyla flexed her claws. "My life has been with hatred as well, but my mother's last words changed me, I now have the power to avenge my family, and fight for what I belive in!" Suddenly the suppressed memories of her desperate escape from her home came back and her eyes welled with the regrets of the past and fear of the future....

"I understand what's that like too." said Lycoris agreeing with the rest of the group. "I didn't ask for this power." "But we gotta move on with life it seems to be our destiny."

Brothorn looked at Tamien.
"How?" he asked. "I'll belive you. I know about lots of strange things. Nothing you say can be that unbelivable."

Thea cleared her throat. "Ahem, though this is a lovely conversation," her tone stating that she thought otherwise, "I'm willing to agree with Mia, that we need to get out of here first." She turned and glared at Mia. "And then, WE will have a little chat. Just... us... two."

"Mia did you hear me, this sword looks like one of the umm.. special blades is it yours"

"No im sorry but that is not my blade...besides if the blade was here i could have summoned the blade to my hand along time ago." She said turning to thea putting her hand out and with a scowl she said, "Truse?"

Tamien's voice sounded muffled from under the shield.
"A person long since lost to this life told me;I think they were a relation of yours.I don't know why."

Thea grimly took Mia's hand. "Truce, now let's get out of this muck hole."

"Yay freedom."Tamien threw the shield off and it rolled away and hit the wall with a bang.
"Oops.'She turned to Thea.
"Any suggestion on how we get out?"

Thea shrugged. "Finding the exit is usually how one leaves a place. However, that seems to be a teensie bit difficult in our situation."

"Maybe we could create a diversion.A Fire.It would make everyone run for the nearest exit and we escape while the guards are busy putting the flames out and being blinded by the smoke."

"Which brings us back to our current problem. Where are the exits!?" Thea said, stomping down her foot in irritation.

"It's simple. In the confusion we follow the guards to the exit.At least I think it's simple.."

Raising a skeptical eyebrow, Thea snorted. "You mean the guards that you said would be trying to put out the fire?"

by Blackhawk
"There can't be only be guards in this place."

Thea sighed with exasperation. "Look, this would be a good idea if it was sure to work. But its not therefor it isn't. We have no idea what the guards are going to do. How are they even going to know where the fire is? And if they do find it, didn't it cross your mind that we are in the room that dozens of guards are suddenly going to pour into? There's nowhere to hide in here! This is a good plan for getting caught!"

Tamien bit her lip.Thea was right, her plan would get everyone caught and possibly executed for trying to escape and killing several guards.
"I'm sure I smelt fresh air from this room,so there might be a window..." her voice trailed off.

"Again, i'm not trying to be mean, but how many dungeons do you know of that have windows?" She shook her head. "Let me rephrase that. How many dungeons do you know of that are above ground?"
Posted: Sun Jul 02, 2006 12:49 pm
by Blackhawk
"Plenty.I've been in dungeons before. And i've escaped all of them."She smiled.
"But I've never had had to help any others out before.I was always put in solitary confinement."

"I've been in many as well. Jails and prisons are above ground. Dungeons are under it." Shrugging, she gave a sultry smile. "But i've never been in one very long. There was always some guard willing to exchange me my freedom for a few... services."

Lycoris laughed at the words a few services. " I don't think these guards will fall for that."

"Yup.they're Garum or something else.."She exagerated the word Garum. She turned around and looked up for a window."There must be one here somewhere or maybe an air vent?Even a weak part in the wall.."

OOC:sorry ive been away for the weekend at a larp so i havent been able to post.
IC:Mias words rung in Akiras ears and her mind trailed of from the conversation as she replayed the words in her mind over and over.
As she listened to the words in her head she sat down on the ground and stared at the back of her hand which she held out in front of her.As she stared at it she allowed for only the back of her hand to take on its true form and she watched as blood red scales appeared across it.She sighed as she looked at the scales, she took on the form of a normal human every day so that others wouldnt hurt her but it meant not being herself and she hated it.She looked up at the others and the scales dissapeared.

Brothorn sat down and listened to the girls try to figure a way out. He looked around the room and spotted a flash of red. It was Akira's hand. Brothorn leaned towards her to get a better look. It was scales! She had scales! He had leaned too far over and the sight had shocked him; he fell over. Recovering quickly, he sat back up and glanced at Akira's hand again. The scales were gone, not a mark was left. He would be sure to keep an eye on her. He wondered whether she was like him or was she. . .Brothorn didn't trust dragonkin.
