I was heavily influenced for Law's creation with two songs. "Ain't no rest for the wicked" by Cage the Elephant, and "Bad Company" by Five Finger Death Punch.

Check them out if you want to get his feel. The Cage the Elephant song resembles his regular, trigger happy, mischief making outlaw/ bounty hunter days while "Bad Company" reminds me of his "killin' days."

Ciarda: One more question: Is the entire planet desolated, or just that one continent?
I'm going to join. But I don't have time to post my chracter bio right now. I will post it later tonight.

Ex: I know those songs! I see how they would fit. XD

its not the entire planet, nor indeed the continent. Parts are completely desert and waste and others are a tangled, dangerous mess of forest, while still others are actually very nice plains.

Name: Vaedus
Gender: Male
Age: 75
Race: Cycron – The Cycron are an alien species, alien to this world. Genetically engineered from their original species. They are a reptilian species. They often have tails, but no wings. Strength wise, they are weaker than the average human, but they have superior dexterity and intelligence.

Physical Description: Vaedus stands at 6' tall, with an finely honed athletic build. His face is elongated into a short snout, while his blue eyes are slightly on the sides, pointing forwards. His nostrils are position on the front top and a little to the sides of his snout, two small hornlike scale protrude from them. He has two ear frills on either side of his head, which can open and close depending on the acuteness of hearing required. His hands are roughly human-like, with small, short claws. These claws look to be residual from the race his kind descended from. Sprouting from his back is a 3 and a half feet long tail, and he stands on two digitigrade legs. His ankle are raised and merge into the rest of his leg, leaving him standing on three large, taloned toes. Covering his body are silvery-white almost bleached scales.

Clothing: Vaedus wears a jumpsuit made of a synthetic material. It has circuitry running through it, linking it to whatever powered armor he wears over it to her neural interface. Granting him superior control over the armor.

Over this jumpsuit he wears a sleek and angular powered armor. Made of a silvery metal, it is capable of deflecting small arms fire. That's not to say all small arms are deflected anything of sufficient caliber would be enough. Such as a .50 caliber. Many of the armor's functions are inoperable now, such as the energy shield it once had. Parts have been taken from it to repair other things. However it does have a few tricks left. Some being that it is powered, enhancing the strength of the user when worn, and a cloak. This cloak isn't perfect, things beyond the cloak are blurred but it is only noticeable at close distances of 10 feet or closer.

Weapons:

IX-Clatus Plasma Rifle: An older weapon used long ago by the Cycron, now put back into service by the few on the planet. It is 3 feet long, with a metal stock, hollowed out to make it lighter. It's constructed much like a rifle of human make, with a pistol grip, a trigger and a fire mod selector. The firing modes are single, and auto. It fires blue bolts, that individually be seen, albeit for a split second. The plasma it fires are a high heat high energy kind, causing both heat and electrical burns when it comes into contact with the target. Some wounds made by this weapon aren't always fatal, as it cauterizes when it hits, but multiple hits from it are quite deadly.

Two Crystal Iron daggers: These blades are made of crystal iron, an artificial metal the Cycron use for everything, from armor to weapons. They are 12 inch blades, perfect for stabbing, but also good for cutting. Nothing is truly special about them other than the material they're made of.

Weakness: Vaedus is weak in a melee fight. Even with his armor it is quite common for him to be weaker than the common warrior who practices his whole life to overpower opponents in a hand to hand fight. This forces Vaedus to focus on speed rather than strength. Another is the cloak for his armor. It can be disrupted by gunfire, by sandstorms or by something hitting him hard enough.

Specialties/Powers: Vaedus has nanites in his blood, allowing him to heal unnaturally fast. This doesn't however, grant him the ability to regenerate lost limbs.

Other Abilities and or Skills: Vaedus is a good marksman, and a fairly decent cook. Having to provide for himself has taught him a few things. He is also able to use rope fairly well, and is a decent rock climber.

Other Items: Being stuck here on this planet, Vaedus carries with him a bedroll, a few small flasks of oil and flint and tinder. And a bracer with a small computer.

Personality: Vaedus almost always has a perpetual brooding face. He hates being on this planet. He only once in a while comes out of the brooding state to laugh, or to release anger. Often times he is distant, and doesn't like being around others.

History: Vaedus arrived on this planet a long time ago. Just recently within the last few years has he been awakened from stasis sleep. He learned from the survivors they they crashed on an unknown planet due to something with a solar flare. The world was hostile to the aliens, and they attempted to tame what they could of it. They set up a defensive perimeter around their crashed ship, a frigate now half buried in sand in the desert waste of the planet. They cannibalized all the parts they could and constructed their most important defense. A robot in the shape of a large predator native to the planet. They created it with LED lights along the sides to give it an terrorizing appearance when it attacked. Its eyes glow red, and now it waits... with only the aliens holding its leash. No warning have been placed, pity to all that trips this trap...

Ok, Heavyman. You and I have talked, and long as you keep it toned down, we can work with this.

Well, like they say "sometimes it is the simple things that are the best to say"(or post) not all my posts will be like though. I promise Azrivel will be ALOT more interesting when The party starts >:)

EDIT: ok now I understand the rules to its full.

also your char said "I remember them from my childhood, but I don't know where they were. However" so yah Azrivel replied like that and thought it was at most 7 sentences long. I got the PM so I will start being longer and more elaborate.

Promise.

Hmmm. I may decide to join. May I play with Cresent, if I keep his magic down very low (actually, I'll remove all ability save shapeshifting)?

Name: Cresent

Gender: Uh...

Age: 3000, thereabouts

Race/Origin: A sort of doctor for reality. Fixes places that have been ruined by magic. Prevents (or at least tries to) worlds from being destroyed. Keeps insanely powerful beings trapped. One of a kind, created by his predecessor to carry on the job of preventing the destruction of everything.

Description: Appears as a human male, about 20, but can take whatever form he needs to do his job. His eyes are brown, his hair dark and short, his skin tone pale, his height around 6 foot... anything else you need to know?

Just say what I need to modify...

Dragonrider: I would love to let you join, however, at present I have a good solid number of people working on this project. HOWEVER, I do like the basic look of the character, and so let's do this: I may be able to find an opening for him a little later in the story. So if you can follow along til then, I will let you know when it would be appropriate to bring him in. Sorry to have to do it this way, but it makes it easier for me to keep track of posts.

Sorry, I didn't get to post a character sheet. I ended up working later than I was supposed to.
Already booked up? I guess that means I'll have to cancel my application, huh? :(

Note to everyone, please use spellchecker for your posts. Call it the teacher in me, but it is SUCH a distraction, lol. Please, please use it. I don't want to call out anyone specifically on this.
