IC: Thea sniffed at Brothorn, who was obviously ignoring her, and pulled her arm away from Seraphine. "Celestial, you seem like the strong type. Why don't you be a gentleman and help us poor women out instead of waiting for an invitation? Use your big muslces to get rid of that grate." She offered a demure smile.

Celestial smilied. Then he clapped his hands together, focussed his energy, and pulled them apart reveiling his sword.

Sometimes all you need is a sharp blade.

He said as he walked up to the grate and began to cut along the edges of the grate. When he was done, he kicked the grate and down it went.

Ladies first.

Akira was more than hurt about brotherns comment about all dragonkins being untrustworthy and she tried to push it out of her mind but she couldnt and in the end she spoke up''why do you think all dragonkins and dragons are untrustworthy thats a bit unfair on the ones that arnt

Thea snorted. "Don't worry about him, Akira. He's just a prejudicious bastard."

"Let's just say that I've had my share of experience with both," Brothorn answered Akira's question. "I have plenty of reasons not to like either one. I don't like them, and as far as I can tell, the feeling is mutual."

Seraphine walked out into the sunlight, past the remains of the grate on the ground. The gravel below her feet crunched softly as she narrowed her eyes until they adjusted to the bright light. Then, she saw her surroundings and knew why she heard people earlier.
She was in a arena.

The crowd lining the stands gave rousing cheer as if she were a gladiator.

Celestial walk out side after Sera and could only say two things,

Awww shit!

Brothorn heard Thea's comment. He knew she was just trying to get to him again. Once again, he ignored her. Some people just don't understand. He turned his attention to Seraphine, who crawled out through the grate. Suddenly, there was a burst of cheering from the outside.
"What's going on?" He cried after her.

Tamien poked her head out of the hole.She squeaked and pulled her head back immediately.
"That's an arena out there."She had a strange look on her face,a mix of sadness,loss and fear.
"Sera!Get out of there or they'll think you're a gladiator!" she reached out and tugged the hem of her robe.

Sera blinked in surprise at the feeling of her robe hem being tugged, but knelt down to reason with Tamien.

"We have to get out of her, Tamien, by any means necessary." she smiled warmly, then grabbed her by the hand. "Come on, lets go."

Brothorn walked outside to the priestess.
"So, what now?" he asked. "We're suppose to fight our way out? Or is it more riddles?" He looked around nervously at the crowd.

"You can start by getting out of there!"Tamien didn't want anyone else to get hurt-or worse,killed-in a gladiator arena.

Grudgingly,she took Sera's hand and pulled herself through the hole and stood out in the sun.
"Even if we could die here,the sun still feels nice."She smiled.

"Taimian what's the holdup?" She crosed her arms in anxiaty, waiting for her chance to come out. What's their problem? After taimian stepped through she followed and gasped. Why did I have to take the mirror?

Seraphine walked towards Brothorn. "I don't think its another riddle...we have to fight something, probably..."

The crowd's heads turned towards a similiar grate at the far end of the arena, it was much bigger than the one they crawled out of.

"Well, fighting I can deal with!" Brothorn said and reached for his ax. He looked at the huge gate on the other side.
"I wonder what it could be," he said to Seraphine. Then, he remembered. . .
"Priestess! Are you going to be able to fight? That robe has hindered your magic. Are you sure you'll be ok?"

Seraphine considered Brothorn's comment. She could probably cast magic, just not Sukara. She realized he might be worried about her. She met his eyes and gave him a blinding smile that showed a lot of warmth.

"Thanks," the word held more emotion than the smile.

Seraphine smiled at Brothorn. A small grin crept across his face. He stood looking down at her for a moment. Then, he shook his head.
"But are you sure you can fight?" he asked again. He had a serious look even though he felt a little silly for asking.

Tamien looked anxiously over at the grate at the other end of the arena.She hopped nervously from one foot to another,trying to guess what could be behind that grate.
Large cats?She could deal with those.Armed humans,she couldn't.She wasn't trained for that kind of hand to hand combat,she lacked the body strength.Tamien was suddenly glad she picked up some extra weapons in the vault earlier.But those weapons were made for assassinating in subtle ways,like jumping from the shadows to slit the victims throat,or from the top of a building with poisoned arrows,not barging into combat all guns blazing.(she suddenly wished she actually had a musket or rifle)
Maybe she could use Sukara,and blow them into oblivion by creating an inferno.

Looking at the fact that they were in the middle of an arena Lycoris said "Oh great first a smelly dark dungeon and now this. "I'm still a huge magnet and now we have to fight."

Seraphine kissed Brothorn on the cheek.

"Don't worry about it, k? Girl's got fight." she snickered a little at the stunned look, but turned quickly to hide her own blush. SHe hurried over to Tamien.

"Hey, you alright, you look a bit scared. It'll all be okay if we work together..." she stopped in the middle of the sentence. The crowd had gone deathly quiet and a soft boom could be heard in the distance. It was a large drum. The drumming kept a steady beat as the grate started to rise...

"Sorry to interupt, but the gate is opening." She interjected. "If you can't fight I'd recomend going back to the dungeon."

Tamien's head snapped around to watch the rising gate,eyes wide.She made a strange noise between a gasp and a muffled squeak and pranced like a nervous horse.
"oh noooo.." she murmured.

"Well said Aeyla," Seraphine commented and looked over to the grate. She slowly drew her rapier, Risoluto, and took a defiant stance to the beast emrging from the grate...

Beast Descritpion:

Giant Sahuagin-Amphibious Horror

The Giant Sahuagin is the cousin of the regular Sahuagin, the most feared of all merfolk. While some mer-people wish to tease or help, these are the merciless, masters of the deep. However, if they grow to gigantic size, they can survive out of water for a time. They are coated with a slick, slimy substance that resists fire for a while and have a poisonous breath. Their claws are covered in a thick mucous that also contains toxins. It is almost 30 feet tall and covered in blue muck.

The Sahuagin advanced out of the gate with a giant club in one hand.

Brothorn was caught off-guard by the priestess kiss. He could say anything. He just watched her walk over to Tamien. Suddenly, a boom snapped him out of his trance. the gate on the far end was opening.
"Here we go. . ." he said, readying his ax. The beast that came was one he was not expecting. It was hideous!
"What is that?!" he called to the priestess.
