OOC: Um, Talus. The shirt is no longer ripped. It can repair itself. Don't worry, it will be explained later. But the back of his shirt is pretty much soaked with blood.


IC: "You can't. . .?" he asked sadly. "I can't. I need help. But I don't want the others to about me. I need your help. You. . .How did you know about my 'marks'?" he looked at her questionally, pleading with his eyes.

OOC: Whoops, sorry **nervous laugh**

Seraphine noted the urgency in his voice and put her face closer to his.

"This will remain confidential until you say otherwise." she took a deep breath. "This robe...among other things, seems to heighten my perception of magic whether its a spell, enchantment, or...curse. Also, it helped when I er...saw you dressing in the weapons room."

She blushed as the words left her mouth.

Brothorn blushed a little at her response and the reduction of space between them.
"But. . .um. . .," he stumbled over the words. "Can't you. . .will you. . .help me? Please?" He was beginning to get light-headed again.

Seraphine studied him, and realized that he was uncomfortable. She led him to a seat next to the arena and sat down in front of him. She met his eyes with sincerity and said:

"Brothorn, we haven't known each other for very long, but I hope that you've learned you can trust me. Of course, I'll help you. Just tell me what to do. And...I don't mean to rush, but everyone else is planning on going to the inn. Can we complete this conversation there? Or does it need to finish now?"

"I do trust you. That's why I asked," he answered her. "My back. . .I need help. But I can wait. I don't want them to see. . .How far is it to the inn?" Brothorn knew he needed medical attention, but his stubborness would not allow the others to know his secret. Seraphine knew about the marks, so it was no use trying to hide them from her.
"I can wait til we reach the inn," he said to Seraphine. "Besides, there will be more supplies there." He stood up weakly.
"Let's go." He gave her a weak smile.

Seraphine smiled back. "Sometimes, the only strength you need to get places is faith." She put an arm around him to help him walk faster. They serously needed to get out. There was a growing pressure on her ears.

"Everyone, it too dangerous to have us all travel in a group. Pair up and go into the town. The 'Rusty Dagger' is the particular pub we're staying in. I hope to see all of you there. I feel awful for seperating you all now f all times, but please you must understand that a big group cannot be seen travelign around."

SHe helped Brothorn over to the arena gates and glanced over to her shoulder to see the others exiting in similiar fashions.

OOC: Well, sorry guys, but I have to go. See y'all later.


IC: Brothron hurried along with the priestess. He went as fast as he could. Something was bothering her, and it wasn't good.
"What's wrong?" he asked as they walked out of the gate.

OOC: Okay... now I know what to say...

IC: So we all have to split up and regroup... okay that is all well and fine but their is only one problem... I have no idea where the Rusty Dagger is.

Celestial said while he was scratching his head.

OOC: K, see ya later, Ersska!

Sera shook her head. "Nothing, its just this place, but..its going away the farther we walk."

She heard Celestial's comment.

"You can come with us!" she yelled back. "Two people helping a wounded man won't be so suspicious!"

Tamien headed into the inn.
"The Rusty dagger" She read on the sign.When she walked in,she was nearly choked by the smoke,so she went to a dark corner and scrunched down into the seat.

OOC: Orr....that could work. Thanks for the quik-fix, Blackhawk!

Sera and Celestial helped Brothorn into the Rusty Dagger. The innkeeper was an older fellow that seemed excited for so many new people entering. The wait staff-the chef and janitor- weren't exactly thrilled at so many new people.

Apparently, there weren't enough rooms, so doubling up is the only option. Everyone gets a roomkey and we trade to match up with who you want to room with.

OOC: For storylines sake I'd like to room up with Thea..... She's kinda not here at the moment otherwise I'd ask her....

I don't care who I am paired up with... as long as they don't snore loudly.

Celestial said to Sera.

OOC: Augh! You edited it, now I'mma all confustered...ah well, I edited too, it shouldn't be to bad. And sure, Aeyla rooms with Thea. Brothorn rooms with Celestial, wait...

Seraphine blinked at Celestial. "Well...unless you're rooming with a girl, you're stuck with Brothorn and Armotag, silly." she giggled. "I hope they don't snore to loud."

She dissolved into laughter. It seemed a while since she had an excuse to laugh, and it felt good.

Great... I'm paired with dudes. What could possibly go wrong.

Celestial said being stupid. He was glade that Sera was able to laugh although he was clueless as to what.

Akira walked up to tamien and sat down next to her''it looks like were sharing a room together''she showed tamien the roomkey then lowered her voice''by the way, thanks for the cover up about the hand thing i would have thanked you then but the others were around''she stood up and walked over to sera who seemed to be having a laughing fit ''so were are these rooms then im shattered''

OOC: Alright, this is my last post for today. See everyone tomorrow? Same time, same place...duh. But before I go:

Everyone can go to there rooms and get settled in, heal, sleep, meditate. Whatever. Tomorrow at noon the bar is closed but I asked the bartender/chef if, since we are the only guests, we could use it as a meeting room. Until then, everyone should stay in the inn and cast Aegis on their doors to protect themselves, although that is not the only option.

All questions to whatever you ask will be answered tomorow. Have a nice sleep.

IC: Celestial carried Brothorn to the room and laid him down on the bed. Then he walked to the corner, sat down with his back agianist the wall and waited.

Tamien nodded to Akira,half asleep.She normally slept during the day and ran around at night commiting all sorts of pranks on people,but today she didn't have the energy for that.Bidding the others goodnight she trudged up to her room,opened the door and curled up on a bed near the window,falling asleep instantly.

OOC:bye talus

IC:Akira walked up to the room to find tamien already asleep on the bed nearest the window.She herself colapsed on the other bed and lay there for a bit, she was nearly completly clueless over what was going on and was so tired she couldnt even remember the sukara words.After a while she finally fell asleep.

Aeyla sat up unable to sleep. Something was bothering her.... "Thea, I have a favor to ask..." She looked up to discover that she was already asleep. She shrugged it off and went to an eventual and troubled sleep.

By the time they reach the inn, Brothorn was near fainting and his back was hurting again. He vaguely remembered Seraphine saying something about the rooms. Celestial had helped him to the room and laid him on the bed. There, Brothorn laid on his stomach trying to fall asleep. He grew dizzy. The room swam before his eyes, and he broke out in a cold sweat.

Tamien suddenly jumped up.What has she forgotten?She went to the door and looked out into the hallway at the other doors.Yawning,she prodded the door with a clawed finger.
"Aegis[protect]"
She then kneeled on the floor at the entrance of the hallway,still yawning,and some strange instinct told her to cast a Spell there.
"Aegis[protect]" she muttered again.She walked up and down the hallway,trailing her hand down the wall,leaving hundreds of tiny and faintly glowing protection symbols where she had touched the wall.She went back to her room and jumped on her bed again and fell asleep.
