"I see..." Ariakan muttered, raising his eyebrows.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!" Everyone gasped. Hawk had fallen into the portal.
"We must get him back," Halo murmured. "But how..."

ooc:if Hawk fell into the canyon, then how did he say "we must get him out"?
Ic: Dragyness hopped over the edge and came back 5 minutes later with Hawk. both were shaking uncontrolably and Dragyness was bleeding from her left wings and her neck.
that was NOT fun AT ALL!
Stepping back, Malchios winced as he saw what was going to happen next
you're in for it now.....
Dragyness then barraged Hawk with a variety of angry sentences, making a bush wilt with some of the words she used. After she was through with Hawk, she picked up some ofn the group, carrying them across. By the time everyone had gotten across, she had earned back her regular, calm composure.

"He, he, he..." Ariakan joked. "Close call there, eh, Hawk?"
"Do not speak of that moment to me ever again! Got it?"
"Some temper he's got there!!" Ariakan whispered to Midnight. Midnight nodded.
"Attack from the north by ogres!" Strider cried.
Turning around swiftly, Midnight left the scene...

You guys just sit tight,I'll take care of them then."
As soon as she said it,Midnight dissappeared.
A long time passed before Midnight returned, and it was midday before any of them saw here again.
When she finaly came back she was back to her normal self, all the orges were gone. She had mannaged to slay them one by one with nothing but her claws.
She came lipping toward the group with a scrowl on her face. Her once sleek glossy fur was matted to her skin and soaked full of blood driping and sweat, and her hair was made stringy by it. Her feathered wings were riped in places, and her tail had been nicked in several areas. There were gashes in her arms and legs, and an arrow was sticking out from the edge of her hip. Her eyes were blood stricken and were set dead ahead of her,in both detemination and anger, and her third eye's flame was lashing about visously. Making her look as if she had gone mad, and when asked if she were alright, she growled angerly.
She got to the middle of the group, when her legs gave way,and she toppled to the ground. a few of them tryed to help her up, but she growled in warning at anyone who got near her. Then suddenly she sat up told them what she had wittnessed in a low tone.
The Citadel is just past the hill up ahead. Chrysal's army is waiting for us there. His men have suffered quite a bit due to the reable army, but they still have mannaged to slaughter every last one of them! That wasn't all either! There were dragons and mystics among the corspes. Our own kind entered into the fight and fell with all the reast of them like flies in a bug lamp. The savages hung the leader of the group from the pillars at the drawbrige above for any more "challangers" to see. He was a good man,and he didn't need to die like that, none of them did! As soon as I saw 'em like that I chased after the monsters like a mad man, and killed them all,but just as soon as I was starting back up the hill a freash new set of them came from out of the shadows,by then my rage was gone,so I just kept going until I got to you, who knows, they may have followed me here.
with that she collapsed with weiriness, and fainted.

I am loving the sword Midnight! I cannot wait to test this shiney steel of death out! Does it have any special properties? What is... .. its... purpose... HAHAHAHAHAHA
Strider started to point and laugh histarically as he pointed to Midnight in the Unicorn form. He keeled over holding his gut as laughter violently erupted from his person. He rolled from side to side as Midnight thwopped him with her tail with a disgruntled look on her countenance.
Its not funny! Quit laughing!
Like hell it isnt! Thats bloody hilarious! as he said while clearing a tear from his eye. The midnight I know a bloody unicorn!
Strider then crossed the side along side midnight and held bursts of laughter. He then noticed a footband of orcs.
They just keep getting prettier every time I see them. umm guys we might need to take care of that before they take care of us agreed?

Midnight awaken to find the group hovering around her. The arrow had been wreanched from her hip,and the wound was bandaged up. She felt herself moving, looked around and relized that she was being carried ontop of a cloak tied onto a set of poles. She tried to sit up,but one of the men pushed her back down.
rest a while old girl,
a voice told her, she stayed down,to tired to try and argue.

The Army
"However," Ariakan said. "We need to get reinforcements before confronting Chrysal's Army!!"
"I know just the place!!!" Halo and Hawk cried simeltaniously. "At Prayers Peak!!! There are over 100 experienced warriors!!"
"By any chance, thieves?" Strider muttered.
"NO!!!!" Halo screamed.....

"But still," Ariakan argued. "It's the only way to get reinforcements."
Just when things seemed hopeless, a figure burst out of the foliage. It was Thryeal-phas!!
"What'd you doing here?" Hawk asked, apparantly scared.
"It appeared that the whole "Evil One" business was far-fetched. I killed Scryser, figured out that the dark aura was a fake, and made it back in time to hear your conversation. To answer your question, there are a group of Empire Rebellions in the area. If we get some of those rebellers to join, then we can destory Chrysal and destroy the Citadel while we're at it!!"
"Great!" Midnight cried joyously....

throughout most of the attack, the dragons had been unnaturally quiet. Dragyness was swishing her tail back and forth as she walked alongside the caravan, and Malchios was lost deep in thought.
hmm.....what to do.... Malchios's eyes flashed purple for a moment and he flew off, narrowly missing several trees. It was a day and a half before he returned, and the crystal on his chest was flashing in thousands of colors and swelling.all of a sudden, a wind struck up and the crystal shattered, releasing a magical aura into the air. several of these auras appeared and they all coalesced into an army, ready for battle.
I'd like you to meet, the Last Guard!
the rest of the party, excluding Dragyness and Midnight, were stupified as they watched this this extraordinary occurence....occur.

Midnight let out a giggle, and try to get off of the sling they where carring her on,which the men of the group absentmindedly held up. She floped off and fell on to the ground. she stood up, and brushed off,all her previous wounds where now gone along with all the blood that had stained her hair and fur. It was if she had never even went near harms way at all.
Hee,hee these fools still think we need help! come on they'll follow evetuly, besides the only one we really need to go with us is Ariakan. Oh, and Strider, about that blade, I really can't tell you what it does, it all depends on who whildes it on what it's capable of.

An arrow wizzed by Midnight, but it was captured before it penetrated her in the blink of an eye. Strider had intercepted it, and snapped it into.
Ok, Now I really have not the clue whats going on! People are glowing pretty colors, people are coming out of his arse, there is an army of orcs shooting arrows at us and we are standing around looking in a stupor, and I havent got the chance to use my sword!
Strider spat at the ground with a scorned look on his face as he raised his blade to eye level.

"True power can only be revealed from within," Ariakan murmured.
"What the he*l is wrong with that dude?" Scryser whispered to Midnight.
Midnight giggled and replied, "He's in a trance."
"When the Mighty One kills the King himself Chrysal shall be doomed forever. Even though killing the king is a heinous act from the side of good, the king has been corrupted. Chrysal wants to kill th king because..."
Ariakan slumped forward.
"Wake up, man!" Strider bellowed. "Wake up, man!!!"
"Huh?..." Ariakan murmured.
"You were in a trance."
"What trance..."

Malchios walked forward toward a large tree with a spring at its base.
bloody hell.....this is a dryad tree! Grerg, come here!
A small robed man walked forward and started talking in a voice that sounded like the rustling of leaves.
this is a dying hama-dryad.

Midnight giggled.
Strider, why are you getting so worked up over a couple of orcs? I took out a whole army of them with only my claws remember? Besides now you get to try out your new sword. oh, and Ariakan, I wouldn't try doing that spell here if I were you, you might need it later.
she said refuring to the trance he had been set out of. Suddenly a rain of arrows showered on them, just before they hit Midnight thew up a forcefield of pure light and the arrows bonced off of it like bouncy balls.
What did I say? No worries! right?.........RIGHT???

Well you know we are just sitting here while the orcs are over there! I mean we are killing a few, but I for one do not like arrows entering any area of my body very much, nor the bleeding that comes into play after removing it. So if you dont mind friend midnight, I say we take them out together aye?

Strider grinned as he gripped his bracers tightly and adjusted them. He held his sword high in the air and with a quick vertical swing, he charged the group of orcs head on.
Its time to teach these guys who not to mess with... but what they really need to learn is how to use a tooth brush! Call me tooth decay control! The slayer of gengavitus!!!
With a wide grin and bursting laughter, Strider entered the battle.

What
Thryeal-phas jumped in, slashing two orcs in half.
"Do not worry about him!" he shouted, parrying a thrust from an orc.
