My drawings

I've decided to start drawing stuff, more precisely dragons. The idea is to experiment with different techniques and styles and hopefully get some feedback in the progress.
I'll come up with a new drawing every week or so starting today.
Drawing #1
Medium: Standard A4 office paper
Tool: cheep ballpoint pen
Post Edit: Crop
Time: 1 hour
Again I only had a ball pen at my hands (see "how to draw a dragon" thread). Nothing special, just a "quick" doodle.

Comments and suggestions for new drawings are most welcome, but please be a bit more creative than just "nice work, please post more".

Drawing #2
Medium: Standard A4 office paper
Tools: 2B,B,H,2H graded pencils and an eraser.
Post Edit: Removed strange black spots, crop and adjusted contrast up.
Time: ~1.5 hours
I just can't shake the feeling that this is terrible.

I hate you.
You make me feel very inadequate.

Due to the sudden halt of my drawing production I will upload a previous drawing to start up again. The following is something I drew about 2 years ago (plus or minus a year). It is an attempt to cover a dragon head with scales. The end result look dull. As if it is missing something.

I have some old drawing laying around here, by my own standards they are terrible. The key to improvement is to spot you own mistakes. Never look up to anyone, only down at you self. At least that is my strategy.

My previous attempt to restart the once a week drawing did not succeed. So here I am once again. This time it's in colours!
Drawing #5
Medium: Japanese sketch book
Tools: Derwent Colour Collection
Post Edit: Minor colour correction
Time: about 3 hours
Reference: None
The sky has more colour in the real version.

great drawings! especially the first one, a lot of details and shading going on there.
